"5D4N SEORAKSAN-DAEDUNSAN-NAEJANGSAN TOUR during autumn in Korea is a must !!!"
During this autumn, we have wanted to explore Korea and visit all the beautiful attractions with colorful foliage. Rorne, the Tour Director of World Heritage Network, recommended us to explore 3 main attractions which are the most popular in Korea: Seoraksan National Park, Daedunsan Provincial Park and Naejangsan National Park in a 5D4N tour that provides us an english speaking tour guide, cozy budget hotel accommodation and comfortable private transportation to pick us up from Seoul.
One our first trip, we went to Seoraksan National Park and we had the most wonderful trek at the famous "AVATAR" valley called Cheonbuldong Valley and after hours of trekking, we saw beautiful and colorful foliage lining along a walkway. It was like an enchanted garden in a fantasy world. Quite like the scenes you see in the movie "AVATAR" with blue as the background and many other autumn colors of the leaves blending together at the side. It was a fantastic scenery out of the world.
Then the next trip was to Daedunsan Provincial Park. This park was a bit of a challenge as it involves walking along a suspended bridge called Geumgang Gureum Bridge hanging precariously between two mountains and the see through holes at the bridge's metal floor was scary as the bridge is suspended very high in between these mountains. After walking through this scary bridge we thought our horror was over until we reached the Samseon Stairway which is 50m long with 127 steps up to the top of the mountain. The bridge is quite narrow and can only fit one person in a space. Climbing up this bridge is a challenge. You feel like you are walking in the sky as you ascend to the top. Our legs were shaky halfway to the top. It was an incredible adventure not to mention the fantastic view from the top looking over all the beautiful and colorful foliage of Daedunsan mountains.
Then come our last attraction which is the finale of the trip and the most interesting of all, the Naejangsan National Park. Walking along a 2KM road surrounded by beautiful autumn leaves was so surreal. It is the most beautiful site I have ever seen and according to our guide, Naejangsan National Park is the most colorful national park during autumn season in Korea. We took the cable car up to the top of the mountain and then trekked down to explore Naejangsa Temple. It was a very beautiful site. The colorful foliage that surround this temple is remarkable and mesmerising.
On the way back to hotel after the tour, we felt a sense of nostalgia and start to miss all these beautiful sites that we finally had the opportunity to explore in our lives. I believe it was our best autumn tour that we ever had in any country and what more can you ask for when you have the chance to visit 3 major tourist attractions at one go and they are also Korea's most popular autumn attractions not just locally but internationally. I like to thank Rorne Tan, the Director of Tour of World Heritage Network for arranging such an amazing autumn tour for us in Korea. It was a fantasy tour with beautiful memories where we will not forget for the rest of our lives. Many thanks again!

Go with World Heritage Network to explore Naejangsan !
We had a group of four that visited this park in late October arranged by World Heritage Network. Our guide, Mary, took us to the information centre near the entrance to the park and advised us to walk rather than taking shuttle bus as the walk was worthwhile with the amazing autumn colour. We walked through the Maple tree tunnel and it was truly exhilarating. The transport provided by World Heritage Network was also very efficient and the hotel arranged for us at Jeongeup was very cozy and nice. Recommend to stay 2 nights in Jeongeup as it is convenient. We spent half a day visiting the Hanok village in Jeonju on day of arrival and the 2nd day we spent the whole day at the National Park. The scenery are exactly like what we saw on website. If you wish to visit Naejangsan National Park, do engage their services for your travel convenience. Highly recommended for foreign tourists.

World Heritage Network's famous Day Tour to Naejangsan is wonderful & convenient!
I want to write this review so that more visitors from the English-speaking community can know about this beautiful place.

This national park is very famous for viewing autumn leaves foliage. Even on a regular Tuesday and Wednesday in late October (when we visited the park), there are a lot of local Koreans visiting the park at day time.

In order to explore this park with complete experience, engage a private day tour from World Heritage Network where they provide english speaking guide with private transportation service. In order to save cost from being transported by car all the way from Seoul, our guide, Alan, took us to take KTX from Seoul instead as it is easily accessible from Seoul Station. We took KTX from Seoul Station to Jeongeup station. From there, a driver who was waiting for us to arrive welcomed us and fetched us to Naejangsan National Park.

When we reached the town near the national park, we saw lots of restaurants and guesthouses. Walking from the town to the national park entrance takes about 15 mins. There is only 1 major road, so you won't get lost. Alan guided us to the cable car station and we took cable car up to the top of the mountain and proceeded to the observation platform. The paranomic view of Naejangsan mountain was incredibly beautiful with the autumn foliage. Then we took the cable car down and proceeded to explore Naejangsa Temple before we retuned by taking a 2KM walk back to the main entrance. Mesmerising the beauty of the autumn foliage along the way. Our driver who was waiting for us at a parking lot fetched us back to Jeongeup Station where we took KTX back to Seoul Station. It was a typical day trip well organised and arranged by World Heritage Network and the trip ran smoothly because we bought our KTX tickets in advance and our guide, Alan, was very caring and professional ensuring that we enjoyed our tour and also helped us to communicate with the locals in terms of food during meal time. This private day tour to Naejangsan National Park arranged by World Heritage Network is highly recommended for those who wish to visit Naejangsan National Park in a day coming from Seoul.
